Elastomeric Waterproofing Coating

Primary Uses:

SANIFLEX-Universal is formulated to be used as a waterproofing, decorative and protective coating in:

  • Protection of atmospherically exposed reinforce concrete
    structures from attack by acid gases, chloride ions, carbon dioxide, oxygen and water.
  • Decorative, protective and waterproof coating against water.
  • As waterproof membrane under or above floor screeds.
  • Swimming pools & flat roof coating.
  • Internal & external waterproofing and damp proofing of concrete and masonry substrates.
  • Sealing and coating tie bar holes for water tightness.

Advantages

  • Excellent adhesion to sound masonry substrates: porous and non-porous.
  • Excellent freeze/thaw resistance.
  • Enables the cement based substrates to breathe while waterproofing.
  • Can be applied on Bituminous substrate as reflective and protective coating
  • Elastomeric with excellent elongation and recovery properties.
  • Decorative; improves surface appearance.
  • Protects against waterborne salts [e.g. chlorides, Sulphate ,etc.), atmospheric gases and carbonation (1.8 mm of the cured film is equivalent to 150 mm of concrete cover).
  • UV resistant.
  • Excellent barrier to carbon dioxide, chloride ions, oxygen and water

Storage:

SANIFLEX-Universal shall be stored innormal conditions away from any extreme temperatures. Shelf life is 12 months
f stored properly in well-closed containers.

Stir SANIFLEX-Universal well before use. Apply SANIFLEX- Universal onto prepared substrates using suitable brush, roller or airless spray equipment for large areas. Apply the second coat after application of the first coat within 6-hours
