Mineralic corrosion protection and bonding coat

Properties:

Areas of Application:

ASOCRET-KS/HB is used as corrosion protection for the steel reinforcement in concrete repair works and simultaneously as bonding coat on concrete and mortar surfaces.
Suitable for the following application areas:
PCC I: surfaces subject to traffic and to dynamic loads (for example underneath driveways)
PCC II: surfaces not subject to traffic, but subject to dynamic loads (for example view from below of superstructures)
PCC III: surfaces not subject to traffic and to dynamic loads (for example sub constructions, support walls, concrete facades)

Storage:

9 months, in closed original packs, stored in dry and frost-free places, above +10° C.

Product Application:

Corrosion protection

Apply ASOCRET-KS/HB in two coats onto the derusted concrete steel with a paint brush evenly. The concrete steel may be matt damp. The second layer is applied after a waiting time of at least 6 hours as soon as the first layer is brush proof. After hardening of the second layer the repair mortar ASOCRET-FM40H can be applied after a time of approx. 6 hours.

Bonding coat

ASOCRET-KS/HB is brushed into the prepared surface with a stiff broom fully covering and pore filling. The following layer made of the repair mortar ASOCRET-FM40H for example has to be done fresh in fresh. In case of interruptions resp. when the bonding coat had already hardened it has to harden totally. Afterwards the application has to be repeated after the corresponding waiting time.
