Non-toxic, 2 component, solvent-free, low viscosity, moisture tolerant, epoxy resin-based, unpigmented penetrating primer & sealer

Properties:

INDUFLOOR-IB 1280 is a non-toxic, 2-component, solvent-free (100 % solids), moisture-tolerant, low VOC, odourless, low viscosity penetrating epoxy resin-based primer and sealer. INDUFLOOR-IB 1280 is formulated to prime & seal concrete and masonry substrates for high performance applications. Additionally INDUFLOOR-IB 1280 is part of the multi-flooring system, INDUFLOOR-IB3359 where high adhesion to porous concrete surfaces is fundamental.

Areas of Application:

INDUFLOOR-IB 1280 is typical applications of:

  • Prime & seal concrete and masonry surfaces
  • Adhesion promotion between substrates and subsequent applications such as but not limited to: epoxy coatings, self-level floor toppings, floor screeds & PU floor systems.
  • Bonding epoxy flooring to concrete, steel, and masonry.
  • Sealing concrete substrates; enhanced protection against chemical reagents, water and water-soluble salts.

Product Details

Product Application:

Mixing

Stir well, each of the components (separately) prior to the mixing of the two components. Empty the entire content of component B into the canister of component A. Using an appropriate drill attached with an approved mixing paddle, mix (RPM approx. 300) the entire contents well for at least 3 to 5 minutes, until a uniform colour and consistency is achieved.

Product Placement:

Placement

Apply the properly mixed INDUFLOOR-IB1280 onto the prepared substrate using a suitable brush or roller. Airless spray equipment can be used in case of large areas. Whilst the coating is still tacky apply the subsequent floor coating, self-level floor topping, floor screed or PU flooring system. If INDUFLOOR-IB1280 dries out, re-prime before commencement with the subsequent layer.

Product Cleaning:

Cleaning

Clean all tools & equipment during and immediately after completion of works with INDU-IB Cleanser. Hardened material can only be removed mechanically.
